Our Christmas Recipe Journey
Christmas is one of our favourite times of the year and despite this year's challenges, we couldn't go into Christmas without creating something pretty special. We took our inspiration from our Northern Europe travels over the last few decades and incorporated it into what we do today, ie. personalised chocolate gifts. Northern Europe do Christmas in style and are passionate about their Christmas delights, which is often rich in flavour and thoroughly indulgent. Halloween Masks!
Being big horror fans, we could not let Halloween pass by with no mention. With the current pandemic resulting in everyone looking a bit like Jason in Friday the 13th, we thought why can't our chocolates have masks too? Lucky for them, the talented Clare Wright came to their rescue! Clare runs Mask-Y-Bont in Talybont-on-Usk and is definitely the go-to person for face coverings. When we were asked by the Welsh Government to supply our handmade chocolates for the BAFTA nominees this year, we were star-struck. After all, some of the films and actors nominated this year are among some of our personal favourites and felt honoured to be a part of this prestigious event. We hope the nominees enjoy them :-).
Fine Dining Chocolates
You will find our handmade chocolates in some fine dining establishments in the UK, but the modern, fine dining Roski Restaurant is definitely our favourite. Based in Liverpool, Anton Piotrowski is the head chef there, having won MasterChef: The Professionals in 2012, he is considered to be one of the leading chefs in the UK.
